The Village of Yelm is the second musical theater experience written, composed and directed by Curran Foster. It is about a young artist deep in the throes of depression and existentialism, until he ingests a potion brewed by his friend who is a witch. The potion causes a group of ancient deities to emerge and re-align the artist’s mode of thought through song, poetry, and dance. The show features a psychedelic, groove-based score performed live by local band Marvelous Good Fortune.
